Located in the beautiful and hilly Hunsrück lies the wonderful holiday park Hambachtal. The surrounding area is perfect for an active and culinary holiday. Near the holiday park, you'll find the Erbeskopf which is, with a height of 816 m, the tallest mountain in Rhineland-Palatinate. Make your way down by the toboggan run, or, during winter, go skiing or cross-country skiing. Hop on your bike, and follow the most beautiful tracks, or take a moment to enjoy a stunning view at one of the marvellous viewpoints.

What is a holiday without soaking up any culture? Visit Trier and Idar-Oberstein, and learn everything about Germany history and culture. Also visit one of many gemstone manufacturers, or check out dozens of castles, fortresses and ruins in the Hunsrück. Rather go shopping? Located by the Moselle, Germany's oldest city is only a stone's throw away. Trier: a beautiful, historic city that lets you soak up German culture but also shows you the best shops around.

Luxembourg is also more than worth a visit. After Malta, it is the smallest country of the European Union, but that doesn't make it less pretty! A country known by many of us, because on your way to France, you'll come across it. How about going underground?
