Why you will love this accommodation
About the accommodation
Compact and complete, with a balcony or terrace to round off the day in style
The Studio is a one-room apartment for two, designed to make you feel at home right away. The combined living and sleeping area features a double bed and a comfortable seating corner with two armchairs. A flatscreen TV and free Wi-Fi are included, so your evenings are yours to enjoy however you like. Outside, a furnished balcony or ground-floor terrace is waiting for you. The perfect spot to sit back with a coffee after a day spent exploring the outdoors.
The kitchenette is compact but well equipped. You have a fridge with freezer, microwave, filter coffee maker and a kettle at your disposal. More than enough to put together a quick meal or start the morning off right. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. The Studio suits couples or two friends looking for a relaxed base to explore the nature around them.
Ferienpark Hambachtal: your base in the Eifel
Ferienpark Hambachtal is nestled in the Eifel, the hilly upland region in western Germany. The park has its own character and plenty to offer when you're not out and about. You can go bowling, play mini golf or let the kids loose in the covered play paradise. Activity Planet provides additional activities for those who want a bit more. After a day in the fresh air, the restaurant with outdoor terrace is a great place to sit down and relax. Please note that the swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is not expected to reopen in the near future. The sauna is no longer available. There are, however, plenty of other activities and leisure options on and around the park.
The Eifel and beyond: more than forests and fresh air
Setting off from Ferienpark Hambachtal, you'll find a region with a lot more to offer than rolling wooded hills. The Eifel itself is perfect for walking and cycling through valleys, lakes and volcanic landscapes, with access to the Eifel National Park for those who really want to immerse themselves in nature. But the area also has plenty of cultural highlights. Trier, on the Moselle, is one of Germany's oldest cities. The Porta Nigra, the Roman amphitheatre and a lively city centre full of terraces make it well worth the trip. Idar-Oberstein has a different kind of appeal: a city famous for gemstones and jewellery, where a church is literally built into the rock face and museums and workshops tell the story of centuries of stonecutting. Saarburg surprises with its historic lanes and a waterfall that runs right through the town centre. And the Bostalsee is a beautiful recreational lake nearby, ideal for a lakeside walk or a quiet afternoon in nature.
