The Studio | 2 personen is a one-room apartment for two people, designed to make you feel at home right away. The combined living and sleeping area offers a double bed and a comfortable seating area with two armchairs. You'll have a flatscreen TV and free Wi-Fi, so you can fill your evenings exactly the way you like. Outside, a furnished balcony or ground-floor terrace awaits, the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee after a day outdoors.

The kitchenette is compact but well equipped. You'll find a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, filter coffee machine and a kettle at your disposal, more than enough to prepare a quick meal or get a good start in the morning. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The Studio | 2 personen is ideal for couples or two friends who want to head into nature without any fuss.

Ferienpark Hambachtal: your base at the edge of the forest

Ferienpark Hambachtal is peacefully located at the edge of the forest, surrounded by greenery that invites relaxation and outdoor time. The park has its own character and offers plenty to do when you're not out exploring. You can go bowling, play minigolf or let the kids run wild in the indoor play paradise. Activity Planet offers additional activities for those who want a bit more excitement. After a day outside, the restaurant with outdoor terrace is a great place to sit down and relax. The swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is expected to remain out of use for the time being. The sauna is no longer available. There are, however, various other activities and recreational options to be found in and around the park.

The surrounding area: more than forest and silence

Those who venture out from Ferienpark Hambachtal will discover a region with much more to offer than wooded landscapes. The surrounding area invites you to walk and cycle along valleys, lakes and rolling hills, with plenty of nature reserves for those who really want to explore. But the region also offers plenty of cultural outings. Trier, on the Moselle river, is one of the oldest cities in Germany. The Porta Nigra, the Roman amphitheatre and a lively town centre with terraces make it well worth a visit. With a different atmosphere altogether is Idar-Oberstein, the city of gemstones and jewellery, where a church is literally built into the rock face and museums and workshops tell the story of stone cutting. Saarburg surprises with its historic streets and a waterfall that runs straight through the town centre. And the Bostalsee is an appealing recreational lake nearby, perfect for a walk along the water or a relaxed afternoon in nature.
