About the accommodation
A home away from home for a group of six
In this semi-detached bungalow of around 82 square metres, a group of six will find everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The living room is the central spot where you gather in the evenings: comfortably furnished, with a flatscreen TV for some well-earned relaxation after a day outdoors. The open kitchen flows seamlessly from it and is fully equipped for six people. You cook on a four-ring hob, and there's a fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and a filter coffee machine at your disposal. The first coffee of the day is ready in no time.
The bungalow has three bedrooms. On the ground floor there's a child-friendly bedroom with a bunk bed, although some bungalows have two single beds here instead. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms, each with two single beds. For sanitary facilities there are two toilets: a separate toilet on the ground floor and a shower-toilet combination upstairs. Some bungalows also have a bath available. Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture awaits, ideal for a quiet breakfast or a glass of wine at the end of the day. Parking is available close to the property. Please note: the park is set in a hilly landscape with differences in height, so stairs are unavoidable. Keep this in mind when booking.
Ferienpark Hambachtal: relaxing in Germany's green countryside
Ferienpark Hambachtal is a lively holiday park where peace and entertainment go hand in hand. Children have a great time in the covered play paradise or the games hall, while adults can unwind on the terrace of the park restaurant. A round of minigolf or an evening of bowling rounds off the day perfectly. The park also offers organised activities and excursions through Activity Planet. The swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is expected to remain out of use for the time being. The sauna is no longer available. On and around the park, however, plenty of other activities and recreational options can still be found.
The surrounding area: plenty to discover
Ferienpark Hambachtal is an excellent base for anyone seeking nature. The area around Nohn is characterised by rolling hills, extensive forests, quiet valleys and volcanic soil. Walkers and cyclists will find an endless network of routes here, from short forest walks to multi-day hikes. The surroundings are green, varied and remarkably peaceful.
For anyone keen on a day trip, there's plenty of choice. Trier, Germany's oldest city, sits on the Moselle and draws visitors with its impressive Roman heritage, including the Porta Nigra, a lively city centre and an appealing selection of terraces. Saarburg is a charming little town with narrow historic streets and a waterfall running right through its centre. Idar-Oberstein is known for its centuries-old tradition in gemstones and jewellery, with museums, workshops and a remarkable church literally built into the rock face. The Bostalsee, a recreational lake nearby, offers plenty of room to walk, relax and take in the surroundings. The combination of nature, culture and tranquillity makes this region a destination with surprises in store, even on a second visit.
