A familiar holiday feeling in the green Hambachtal valley

As soon as you've unpacked your bags and settled down on the terrace, you'll quickly notice what makes this holiday special. The Vakantiehuis | 4 personen at Ferienpark Hambachtal offers space for four guests in a familiar, peaceful setting. The bungalow is semi-detached and has a surface area of around 70 square metres, spread over two floors. Downstairs you'll find the living room with open kitchen, where you can eat together, relax and spend your evenings. The kitchen is well equipped for four people and includes a fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and a filter coffee machine. Handy if you like to start a quiet morning with a fresh cup of coffee.

Upstairs are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the other is fitted with bunk beds or two single beds, making the bungalow well suited to families with children. There are two toilets: a separate one on the ground floor and a shower-toilet combination upstairs. The bungalow has its own terrace with garden furniture, in some bungalows reachable via a spiral staircase. Parking is available near the bungalow. Please note: Ferienpark Hambachtal is set in a hilly landscape with differences in elevation, meaning holiday homes and park facilities are sometimes reached via stairs. If you have specific requests, such as a bungalow without a spiral staircase or with a bathtub, please let us know when booking.

Ferienpark Hambachtal: unwind in the German countryside

Ferienpark Hambachtal is more than just a place to sleep. The park itself offers plenty of ways to fill your holiday days. Children have a great time in the covered play paradise or the game hall, while adults can go bowling or play a round of minigolf. After a day outdoors, the restaurant with outdoor terrace is a great spot to eat together without having to cook. For a more active holiday, Activity Planet offers extra recreational options on and around the park. The swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is expected to remain out of use for the time being. The sauna is no longer available. However, various other activities and recreational options can still be found on and around the park.

The Hambachtal valley and its surroundings as your backyard

Ferienpark Hambachtal is set in a green, hilly landscape in western Germany, close to the border with Belgium. The area consists of wooded hills, quiet valleys and natural terrain that have appealed to hikers and cyclists for generations. From the park, you're quickly among the forests and peaceful nature areas of the region, where extensive walking and cycling routes await discovery. If you'd rather spend a day in town, there's plenty of choice nearby. Trier, on the Moselle river, is one of Germany's oldest cities and draws visitors with its Roman heritage, charming streets, shops and terraces. The impressive Porta Nigra is well worth seeing. Idar-Oberstein never disappoints either: the town is known for its gemstones and jewellery, striking rock formations and the remarkable church literally built into the rock. Saarburg welcomes you with historic streets and a waterfall flowing right through the town centre. And the Bostalsee, an attractive recreational lake nearby, makes for a lovely destination for a relaxing day in nature.
