In this comfortable holiday home, you'll feel at ease right away. The bright, modern interior gives the house a pleasant atmosphere, and the open connection between the living room and kitchen means your group can really stay together. The flatscreen TV completes the living room for a relaxed evening after a day outdoors. The kitchen is well equipped, with a hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and a filter coffee machine all at your disposal. Cooking together and sitting down at the table is simply part of the holiday here.

There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with bunk beds, making this home a great fit for a family with children or two couples. The bathroom has a shower and toilet, and there's also a separate guest toilet. Outside, a furnished terrace awaits, perfect for a relaxed breakfast in the morning or a quiet moment together in the evening. Free Wi-Fi is available at the property, although signal strength may vary depending on the location within the park. Please note that the interior and exterior views may differ slightly between homes.

Ferienpark Hambachtal: your green home base

Ferienpark Hambachtal lies tucked away in a hilly landscape that invites you to slow down. The park offers plenty to fill your days: you can go bowling, play minigolf, visit the game room or let the kids loose in the covered play paradise. At Activity Planet you'll find even more activities, and the park restaurant with outdoor terrace is a great spot to eat well after a day in the fresh air. The park has undulating terrain, which means some holiday homes and facilities are reached via steps. The swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is expected to remain out of use for the time being. The sauna is no longer available. Plenty of other activities and recreational options can still be found in and around the park.

The surrounding area: more than you'd expect

Ferienpark Hambachtal is located in western Germany, in a green and varied hilly region close to the Belgian border. Wooded hills, quiet valleys, volcanic lakes and extensive hiking trails are practically on your doorstep. Further afield you'll find beautiful nature reserves, ideal for hikers and nature lovers looking for peace and space.

But there's plenty to discover further away too. Trier, one of Germany's oldest cities, sits on the Moselle river and breathes Roman history. The Porta Nigra, the well-preserved ancient city gate, is impressive to see, and the centre offers charming terraces and shops. Idar-Oberstein surprises with its unique rocky landscape and rich traditions around gemstones and jewellery. The church built literally into the rock face always draws attention. Saarburg is a charming town where a waterfall runs straight through the centre, surrounded by historic streets and terraces. And the Bostalsee is a nearby recreational lake, perfect for a walk along the water or simply a moment of peace in nature.
