Free Wi-Fi is available at the property, though signal strength can vary depending on the location within the park. Please note that interior decor and outdoor views may vary slightly between homes.
Ferienpark Hambachtal: your green home base
Ferienpark Hambachtal is tucked away in a hilly landscape that invites you to slow down. The park offers plenty to fill your days: go bowling, play a round of minigolf, visit the game hall or let the kids loose in the indoor play paradise. At Activity Planet you'll find even more activities, and the park restaurant with its outdoor terrace is a great spot for a meal after a day outside. The park has a hilly terrain, which means some holiday homes and facilities are reached via steps. The swimming pool at Ferienpark Hambachtal is currently closed and is expected to remain out of use for the time being. The sauna is no longer available. There are, however, plenty of other activities and recreational options to enjoy in and around the park.
The surrounding area: more than you'd expect
Ferienpark Hambachtal lies in a green, varied hilly region in western Germany, close to the Belgian border. Wooded hills, quiet valleys, volcanic lakes and extensive hiking trails are practically on your doorstep. The region is a wonderful destination for hikers and nature lovers looking for peace and space.
But there's plenty to discover further afield too. Trier, one of Germany's oldest cities, sits on the Moselle River and is steeped in Roman history. The Porta Nigra, the remarkably well-preserved ancient city gate, is impressive to see, and the city centre offers charming terraces and shops. Idar-Oberstein surprises visitors with its striking rock formations and rich traditions in gemstones and jewellery. The church built directly into the rock face always draws attention. Saarburg is a charming little town where a waterfall runs right through the centre, surrounded by historic streets and terraces. And the Bostalsee is a nearby recreational lake perfect for a walk along the water or simply a peaceful moment in nature.
